Carrie Hebert

Group Facilitator, Nutritionist

Carrie Hebert is an integrative nutritionist and group facilitator specializing in the intersection of nutrition, mental health, and substance abuse recovery. She completed her Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health from the Notre Dame School of Integrative Health in 2025 and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) candidate. She also holds her California RADT credential and provides group education within licensed treatment settings. Her graduate training included advanced coursework in functional nutrition, neuroscience, blood chemistry, and clinical assessment, along with supervised clinical hours under leading practitioners in functional medicine.

At ORCA Mental Health, Carrie facilitates weekly Healthy Habits groups that teach clients evidence-based tools for blood sugar balance, dopamine regulation, mindful eating, and stress physiology. Her sessions help clients understand how nutrition influences mood, cravings, emotional regulation, and their recovery process. Carrie emphasizes practical, real-life strategies that clients can immediately apply to support greater stability and long-term wellness.

Carrie brings experience working with a wide range of clinical presentations, including depression, anxiety, trauma, emotional eating, digestive dysfunction, and metabolic imbalances. She has training in functional lab interpretation, including GI-MAP, DUTCH, metabolic panels, and organic acid testing, which informs her whole-person and root-cause approach. Carrie is committed to providing accessible, science-informed, and compassionate education to help clients build resilience and improve their overall wellness.
