Erika Camarillo

Primary Therapist

Erika Camarillo (ACSW 128911) is an Associate Clinical Social Worker at Oceanside Mental Health.  She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from California State University – San Marcos, building a strong foundation in clinical practice, school social work, and behavioral interventions.

Erika is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. She has experience supporting clients with mental health challenges, co-occurring substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities.

Her approach to therapy is strengths-based, client-centered, and holistic, integrating multicultural perspectives and fostering resilience, emotional awareness, and self-efficacy. She emphasizes collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and individualized care.
