Lindsey Rivas
Primary Therapist
Lindsey Rivas is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at ORCA Mental Health, practicing under the clinical supervision of Dr. Kyle Glover (PSY34924), a licensed psychologist. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Lindsey later spent several years in Georgia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University. She returned to Southern California to earn her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena.
Lindsey’s professional experience includes working in a psychiatric hospital and providing therapy in residential treatment settings. Before joining ORCA, she worked closely with adolescents and their families, supporting clients experiencing mental health, behavioral, relational, and substance use concerns. These experiences strengthened her ability to work with individuals navigating complex challenges, periods of transition, and the process of creating meaningful change.
Lindsey believes therapy should be a space where clients can better understand themselves without feeling defined by their past or current challenges. She works collaboratively with clients to identify patterns, build practical skills, and develop healthier ways of navigating relationships, emotions, and life stressors. Her approach is supportive, straightforward, and tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals.
Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys traveling, spending time near the ocean, and experiencing new cultures.
