Meghan DeWees is an enthusiastic and engaging therapist with a rich background as an educator, therapist, and trainer. She is dedicated to empowering growth and well-being through person-centered, trauma-informed care. Trained in Process-Based Therapy, EMDR, somatics, and trauma-informed weightlifting, Meghan brings a holistic and integrative approach to her work. She has experience in private practice, community health and residential treatment settings.
Meghan believes therapy is a unique opportunity to explore the nuances of the inner world and build awareness around the patterns that shape how we move through the outer world. In her work, she fosters a space of care, non-judgment, support, and enthusiasm—where curiosity, creativity, and even clumsiness are not only welcome but essential to the process. She is passionate about helping adults navigate life’s complexity with greater presence, insight, and connection.
Outside of the office, this Ohio-native is eager to be outside enjoying San Diego’s weather as often as possible – ideally with a K9 companion! As a life-long athlete and learner, she is seldom without a training goal or book/podcast recommendation.
